Overview
Concrete Sealer

R30/A Concrete Sealer primes, protects and waterproofs. R30/A is a high performance treatment for garage, utility floors workshops and all internal concrete surfaces.

The unique formulation stabilises the surface, prevents dusting, repels dirt, oil, fuel stains, and can be used to prime treated concrete prior to painting.

How To Use
Concrete Sealer

  • R30/a is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted. Shake container before use. Ensure surface is thoroughly dry and dust free before application. (applying to a damp surface may cause whitening.)
  • Do not pour directly on to surface. Apply with a brush, long pile roller, or low pressure sprayer.
  • Apply an even coat avoiding runs, drips or puddling by removing excess product from the surface.
  • Use an emulsion brush to finish the edges.
  • For porous surfaces, apply 2 coats, the second within 2 hours of the first. For dense surfaces a single coat is normally sufficient.

Important
Concrete Sealer

New concrete should be allowed to cure for 30 days before application. This product is not suitable for non porous surfaces e.g. quarry tiles, engineering brick, polished or glazed surfaces.

This product is not suitable if surfaces have been previously treated with a silicone or stearate based water repellent. Do not apply if rain is expected within 4 hours or before the surface is completely dry.

Do not apply during rain or frost and when surface air temperature is <10ºc and > 25c.

Keep pets away until surface is fully dry

Curing
Concrete Sealer

Allow the product to cure overnight before subjecting to heavy traffic - increase this time in cold, damp conditions. Optimum performance is reached after 2 -3 days.

Precautions For Use
Concrete Sealer

For Health & Safety instructions, first aid measures, spillages and disposal instructions, see separate Health & Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

Storage
Concrete Sealer

Keep out of reach of children. Keep in a dry place between 5c and 30c in the original container.

Cleaning Of Equipment
Concrete Sealer

Remove as much excess product as possible and clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soapy water

Surface Preparation
Concrete Sealer

Always test a small inconspicuous area before use, to ensure surface compatibility, performance and finish is acceptable.

Remove surface contamination. Surface should be clean, free from dust, dirt, oil, efflorescence, organic growth, coatings and water sealers.

All algae and mould should be treated and removed using R06 Algae Remover.
